Choice Board Activities: Gas Laws (Chemistry)

What does a teacher do when she's given a gift of time? Plan lessons!! Cypress Fairbanks ISD pushed the reopening day to September 8th and that gives me 4 extra days of summer. I created a choice board of activities for the unit in Chemistry that deals with Gas Laws. Few activities are content based while the others are purely brain breaks.  Hope you will enjoy looking through it and may be grab an activity or two? https://bit.ly/gaslaws_choiceboard

Few Samples of Mini Lesson in Blended Learning

Fall of 2020 is going to be so critical in re-establishing those relationships between our kids and their educators. Whether they're receiving instruction on site or virtually, the instructor can utilize these mini lesson set ups to really get to know each individual student closely. These are opportunities to assess not just knowledge but their general well being. Kids might be longing to have some fruitful and relaxed conversations after having being home bound for months together.  I compiled 5 different methods and topics for conducting mini lessons. I hope you'll be able to use these platforms and create your own or may be just use as it is. Please click the link below            ðŸ‘‰      Life on Earth: Mini Lesson

Mini Jeopardy Future Ready Studio

Image
Future Ready studio in a blended learning model can really bring in some refreshing ideas and take student achievement to another level. Collaboration, Communication and Creativity are the heart and soul of these activities. Note, that there is not a mention of 'Memorization' or 'Recall' in this process. Please see the attached link to the template of a jeopardy game created on Google Slides. You can make a copy and edit as per your requirements. I have attempted to provide a small sample of this being used in a Biology classroom. https://bit.ly/jeopardy_FR
